Co-curricular Activities

Regular attendance at school is in the interest of the students. It builds up a sense of duty and a habit of regularity and discipline. Students should arrive to school on time. Parents' co-operation to ensure punctuality will be much appreciated.

Students are prepared for the Madhyamik Pariksha (West Bengal Board of Secondary Education).

The Higher Secondary Exam: (Classes 11 and 12) which accepts students who have passed MP or its equivalent, and prepares students for the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination.

Co-curricular activities are of paramount importance in the development of the child into a total integrated personality. Interpersonal relationship skills, confidence, poise and reliability are some of the qualities developed through co-curricular activities.

Promotion

If a pupil is found using unfair means in an examination that particular paper will be cancelled and he shall be suspended from appearing for the rest of the papers and will be allotted ZERO in all the papers of the current examination.

There will be two formative assessment followed by a summative examination in each of the three semesters.

Reports on general progress will be intimated to the parents during the year. These reports need to be returned to the school authorities signed by the parent or guardian.

The general performance of the student will be taken into account for promotion. Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole years' work including co-curricular performance. In the case where a repetition of a class is in the interest of the child, parents will be informed and their support requested. The decision of the school authorities with regard to promotion is final.
